Hyderabad Rockathon 2017 on November 14, 2017

Hyderabad Rockathon is being conducted to highlight the importance of preserving our rocks and their heritage.You can find many activities that are themed around rocks. All the activities are safe and even children and beginners can take part in them.

The Hyderabad Rockathon is a full day of rock-adventure and rock-fun in the boulder hills of Hyderabad. The Society to Save Rocks and the Great Hyderabad Adventure Club have been conducting the Hyderabad Rockathon for 5 years now. This year again, we are planning the event to take place on Sunday,  12. November, 2017. The venue will be the beautiful rocky hill of Fakhruddingutta (Khajaguda) behind Lanco Hills in Manikonda.

The programmes will be manifold from adventurous (rappelling and zip-lining, trail-biking, rock walks and bouldering) to educational (Rock Quiz, Snake Awareness Programme) to pure fun (Rock Balancing, Treasure Hunt, Slack Lining, Rock Tattoos and Rock Selfies).  There will be activities for every age and every level.
