Pitch Presentation
Pitch Presentations is the very heart of TechCrunch event series. Some 30 companies, chosen from hundreds of applicants, launch their products on the stage before a live and online audience, including a panel of expert judges. After demos, pitches and tough rounds of questions, TechCrunch’s editors, working with the VCs, seasoned entrepreneurs and product experts, select six companies for a final, drama-filled round on the third and final day. Only one contender takes home a Rs.xyz check and the coveted Cup. We encourage you to apply !
Hackathon
We kick the excitement off with our incredibly popular Hackathon. The Hackathon brings together developers, where they join teams to create a product within a 24-hour time slot. During the Hackathon, energy drinks are flowing, photographers are capturing, TechCrunch writers are furiously scribbling interview notes. Once the Hackathon ends, every team presents their product to a panel of expert judges and audience members. The winners go on to present their product on the stage.
Startup Zone
Outside the main stage, hundreds of early-stage companies exhibit in Startup Zone showing off their talent and technology to attendees. Browsing through Startup Zone introduces a range of exciting companies to the marketplace, many of which are launching at the event for the first time. Each day an ‘Audience Choice Winner’ from Startup Zone will be chosen to present onstage in Startup Pitch presentations for the chance to win the grand prize and the Cup. Startup Zone is the best venue ever for startups seeking exposure to investors, partners, and media.
