Shaastra – Annual Technical Fest of IIT Madras from January 4-7, 2018
Shaastra is the annual technical festival of IIT Madras. With a footfall of over 40000, this fest has gained popularity among the youth and grown-ups alike.
On 6th January, 2018, be sure to be present at the Open Air Theatre in the IIT Madras campus, to witness the biggest party this New Year. The venue, which boasts a capacity of over 8000, will be hosting Shaastra’s first ever FREE EDM Night. With three phenomenal artists lined up, this night promises to be one you will never forget.

Headliner – Mariana BO:
Ranked #14 in the top 100 Djanemag and #84 in the top 100 DJ mag of 2017, violinist and DJ extraordinaire, Mariana BO has released massive hits such as CEIBA and Kolkata. She has previously performed at various festivals all over the world such as EDC Mexico, Ultra Mexico, Sunburn Goa, Parookaville, among others. Her collaborations on stage have been with KSHMR, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and many more. Mariana’s music and energy are off the charts and it is sure to get you jumping to her beats.
Supporting Act – Get Massive:
Voted India’s number 1 Trance DJ/Artist, DJ Get Massive is one of the fastest rising Progressive House & Bigroom trance artist in the country. He has performed in festivals such as VH1 Supersonic, Sunrise Festival (Pondicherry), and Electro Storm festival, in the past.
Opening Act – Broken Symmetry:
A product of IIT Madras, this DJ Producer Duo have established themselves in the Chennai party scenes.
