Begin your Independence Day Celebrations early with FreeDumb a special stand-up comedy show on the eve of the 70th Independence Day with 70 Minutes of non-stop laughs by Hyderabad’s best stand-up comedy collective Funny Side Up in association with The GP Birla Centre.
Hosted by Comedy ka Anna Rajasekhar Mamidanna and featuring ‘NDTV Rising Star’ Rohit Swain and Tall, Dark and Er..Hilarious Saikiran. Along with a special act by super funny Garv Malik coming all the way from Delhi.
RajaSekhar Mamidanna
RajaSekhar Mamidanna aka RSM is a Harvard graduate and has a Ph.D in Information systems. He has produced a research paper in Stanford and he is a member of Greenpeace. Ideally, this is how his dad would have wanted it to be. Just to give a chance to others to accomplish all those, he stayed calm. He is a B. Tech Computer Science graduate and MBA marketing guy, who now, is good at making fun of both the degrees.
Rohit Swain
Rohit Swain’s stage performances are a mix of stand-up, impersonations, sketches and funny songs on guitar, which keeps his style of comedy delightfully amusing. He has been featured on NDTV’s The Rising Stars of Comedy, where he was hilarious as hell. He is surely an act you should not miss.
Saikiran Rayaprolu
Sai Kiran is Tall, Dark and Err… Hilarious. If failures are truly the foundation of success then Saikiran has enough foundation to balance the Charminar on his bare hands. But, his father thinks he was specially created by god as a tale of caution to all Indian parents who pray too hard for a male child. After well received performances all over Hyderabad he is now foraying into other cities like Secunderabad.
Garv Malik
Garv Malik is a stand-up comedian from Delhi. His comedy gigs are known for satirical digs on real life issues. He is also known for a number of Improv shows.
