The Society to Save Rocks and the Great Hyderabad Adventure Club has been successfully organizing Hyderabad Rockathon since 4 years. For the 5th time Hyderabad Rockathon is hapening on Sunday, 20th November 2016. Come and participate in a fun filled day of rock-adventure and nature in the boulder hills of Hyderabad.

Eligibility – 6 years and above (For children below 12 years of age we have a separate track to make adventurous activities easier for them)

Great Hyderabad Adventure Club or GHAC is a Not for Profit Adventure Club that caters to Outdoor and Adventure Activities like Trekking, Hiking, Camping, Outdoors, Nature and Adventure sports like Bouldering, Rock climbing, Rappelling and more. The activities are conducted regularly in Hyderabad, Telangana and Rest of India.
The Society to Save Rocks – To prevent the indiscriminate destruction of this natural, geological and environmental heritage, the Society to Save Rocks was founded in 1996 and since then has been working on awareness programmes to educate the general public. It has worked with the government of Andhra Pradesh and now working with government of Telangana to place special rock formations and rock areas on the Heritage Conservation List. So far, 24 sites have been notified as protected in Hyderabad.
