TEDxBITSPilani – Blank Canvas in Pilani on January 22, 2017

TEDxBITSPilani is a student run body that organizes TEDx events in BITS Pilani. Next event is on 22nd January, 2017 on the theme ‘Blank Canvas’.

TEDxBITSPilani is an event that aims to broadcast and organize numerous TED talks at BITS Pilani. The event aims at celebrating the mission of TED – ‘Ideas worth Spreading’ at Pilani campus of BITS Pilani. We believe ideas have the power to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.

The Birla Institute of Technology &Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to “train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information”. BITS Pilani offers degrees in engineering, sciences, technology, pharmacy, management and humanities. It is widely known as the best private engineering institute of India.

We aim to provide a platform that brings together people from all walks of life under one roof.

Life is a canvas, where shades from different palettes meet into a concrete painting. Every person’s life was earlier a blank paper, waiting to be filled by his actions. It is this blank canvas, which allows a person to think freely about what he wants to achieve in life, how much he wants to succeed and how colourful he wants his life’s picture to be. The whites of this paper help a person organise a channel of thoughts, an ocean of beliefs; what we believe to be ‘Ideas worth Sharing’!
