TEDxSMIT in Sikkim on November 1, 2015

With the passionate belief in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world, we want to build a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the most inspired thinkers and a community of curious souls that engage with ideas. With the intent of spreading thoughts, we proudly announce the first chapter of TEDxSMIT.

Theme:

Freedom is power, but requires courage to unveil its strength. Courage is strength, but requires freedom to explore its power. TEDxSMIT will celebrate the ideas where freedom met courage to spark actions that have the potential to impact the civilization. It will give the stage to voices that can inspire and engage through their stories and initiate the movement of unveiling and exploring.

Venue:

The beautifully landscaped campus of SMIT in the banks of the hustling Teesta River in the Himalayan region of India will host the event and will serve the occasion to inaugurate the newly constructed Hall in the campus.
