Dual Screen App Challenge for Android Developers Until July 21, 2014

Silicon Image, the company behind leading HD connectivity standards such as HDMI®, MHL®, and WirelessHD®, invites you to enter the Dual Screen App Challenge. The goal of this contest is to showcase Silicon Image technologies by creating awesome Android games and apps that take advantage of the dual screen capabilities that were introduced in Android 4.2 Jellybean. In addition, we want developers to create games and apps that showcase additional advanced features of MHL and/or WirelessHD, such as:

Transmitting video up to 4K Ultra HD resolution with no lag
Supporting up to 8 channels of surround sound
Providing power to charge the smartphone (for MHL apps)
Submissions will be Android apps that simultaneously show one thing on the phone screen, and something else on the connected external display, such as an HDTV.

You can enter as many apps as you’d like, as long as each one fits into one of the following three categories:

Games (Any game genre)
Productivity (Office style apps, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations)
Entertainment /Other (Everything else)
