Pan-India Idea and Innovation Competition

The competition aims to spread the positive message (amongst masses) that erudite, rich and powerful are not the sole custodian of innovations but the real innovations come from people connected with grass-root problems, living under
constrains and have still shown the ‘out-of-box’ thinking to offer scientific and technical solution.

Competition Process

The ideas submitted by participants will undergo a no. of stages to qualify for the final stage of meeting the investors and dignitaries at the Inclusive Innovation event:

Stage 1: High-level selection of relevant projects from the entire submissions. The selected project will move on to the next round, and shall be informed.

Stage 2: The participants will be asked to submit a formal business plan and certain concrete developments as part of the idea development and implementation.

Stage 3: The finalists will get to meet the VCs, investors and government bodies at the event and discuss their ideas in details, helping them secure funding and resources for taking them ahead.

Submission / Evaluation Criteria and Eligibility

Your Idea must have:
1) A clear purpose and vision.
2) A detailed plan for how you intend to pursue it.
3) An understanding of which materials, expertise, and capital you will need to bring the idea to life.

The project must have certain past results and history that you can point to and share; as well as a team or organizing force behind it.

Benefits of Participation

The event will help and support innovations and innovators by giving innovators an opportunities to discuss funding and further technology development (technology) possibilities with Industrial houses, Venture Capitalists, Pre-Angle and Angle investors, Govt. organizations and research institutions.

It will provide a unique platform to grass-root innovators to showcase their innovations. It will also ensure that some of the innovations are taken up by leading industrial houses for further development and commercialization.It will enable innovators to showcase their innovation to masses and directly tap into market and potential customers.

Idea Submission Opening: 17th May 2014
Idea Submission Closing: 30th October 2014
Inclusive Innovation Event: 10th – 15 thDecember 2014
Announcement of the Winners: 10th – 15 thDecember 2014
