Dualist Inquiry Live In Hyderabad (Live Set)

In less than a decade, Sahej Bakshi, better known as Dualist Inquiry, went from a studious music producer to a headlining, game-changing artiste, to a forward-focused music entrepreneur.

Dualist Inquiry has always been ahead of the curve: whether through his pop-oriented music that pre-dated regional trends or being the poster boy for Indian electronica half a decade ago. What’s even more impressive is how Sahej Bakshi, as he is better known, went from a studious music producer to a headlining, game-changing artiste, to a forward-focused music entrepreneur. Dualist Inquiry has just released a brand-new EP, Life Forms, which sees him tapping into the vast reservoirs of his creativity. Supporting him are Mumbai-based live-act Ape Echoes, the Frankensteinian brainchild of producers and multi-instrumentalists, Nirmit Shah and Sid Shirodkar. Ape Echoes frequently combine traditional acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Their sound moves through territories influenced by crossover-jazz, electronica, noise, hip-hop, prog-rock, funk, and soul.
