Genesis Foundation brings to you the Goa Rhythm & Blues Festival 2016 in its second edition!
After the success of Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival, we couldn’t resist taking the festival to the tranquil beaches Goa has to offer.
Unlike just any other music festival – we bring together music lovers who believe in our cause – where We Give Life a Chance for critically ill children who are supported by the funds raised at the festival.
Our 2016 line-up brings you 10 live performances that will leave you swaying, moving, shaking and soaking up the Goan vibes over the two-day festival.

About Genesis Foundation
Genesis Foundation is a not-for-profit trust established by Prema and Jyoti Sagar.
We provide financial assistance for critical life-saving or life-changing medical interventions for children from orphanages and underprivileged families (i.e. family income is less than Rs. 10,000 per month). The age group of children we support is from birth to 18 years. Our focus areas are cancer, heart and thalassemia. So far, Genesis Foundation has supported medical treatment of over 1000 critically ill children but there are more than 150 kids waiting to be treated. A lack of resources coupled with the high cost of treatment of these specific diseases means that orphanages and concerned families are often unable to provide their children with the critical medical intervention that they need. To fill this gap, Genesis Foundation has built a dynamic community of donors, health care organisations, medical professionals, caregivers, friends and supporters who are committed to children’s health. With the help of this community, we raise resources and access networks to meet the needs of the children under our care.
In order to raise resources to facilitate medical assistance to GF Kids, the foundation has created unusual and unique participative fundraising events centred around music, art and food. Some of these events are Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival, CEOs Cook for GF Kids, Music for Life, among others. 2015 saw an addition of two more fund raising events called the Goa Rhythm & Blues Festival and 40 CEOs Sing for GF Kids. GF is also the beneficiary of CEO’s Got Talent, produced by FremantleMedia.
