This is going to be a unique experience and a pioneering moment which is not to be missed. Be a part of this once in a lifetime experience in Hyderabad.

Westin Concert Day 1 Jan 2nd
Franz Schubert – Trout Quintet
Robert Schumann – Piano Quintet

Two awe-inspiring pianists and two masterpieces of Chamber music will capture your attention with sheer poetry. Italian pianist Alessandro Deljavan has an almost hypnotic effect with Schuberts Trout Quintet. This work has been performed for over a hundred and fifty years and is a stroke of genius filled with his melodious songlike dreamy atmosphere. Following the Trout is the dramatic ensemble with pianist Martin Helmchen. The Schumann Quintet is considered by many his crowning achievement in the world of chamber music. The energy and suspense of this tonal sketch are on par with any of Shakespeares plays.

Westin Concert Day 2 Jan 3rd
Edvard Grieg – Holberg Suite
Ludwig van Beethoven – Piano Concerto No.4 Op. 58

This orchestral masterpiece was written originally for piano in 1884 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Danish-Norwegian playwright Ludvig Holberg. Grieg adds his romantic touch to Baroque form in this suite. It is a collection of thought-dances. Full of energetic strings articulating lively rhythms without missing the simplicity of the Scandinavian soul.

Beethovens ground-breaking Piano Concerto No. 4 is filled with keyboard virtuosity. Its improvisations and flowing passages are often juxtaposed with celestial moments. This grand concerto was composed in 1805 and has been a yearly favorite in Europes major concert halls. This evening promises to leave you spellbound with timeless music and dazzling performances.

Westin Concert 4 – Jan 6th
Franz Schubert – Sonatina in A-minor
Cesar Franck – Violin Sonata
Frederic Chopin – Twelve Etudes Op. 25

Italian musicians Daniela Cammarano (Violin) and Alessandro Deljavan (Piano) present the most enchanting evening of duo chamber music. Daniela will bring to life the virtuosity and lyricism of the violin in the magical Franck Violin Sonata. Brimming with rich harmonies and reminiscent of the times of Monet and Gaugin this composition is bound to leave an indelible impression.

Piano lovers are in for a treat with a rare performance of the Twelve Etudes Op.25 of Federic Chopin. Each of these miniatures goes by quickly, marking their path to the next wonderful moment but they are not to be underestimated. The technical skill required to play a single one of them is tremendous. Alessandro Deljavan, our pianist par excellence, demonstrates ease in these pieces. Drawing you into the drama and fervour of Chopin himself.

This music festival is going to be a wonderful experience.
