The Fashion Narrative in Pune from August 10-11, 2017

In the clutter of fashion happening through the country, what to my mind seems to be missing, is the conversation with the end user. Celebrating the sentiment of the independence month, we dedicate this event as homage to our grassroots. Rudraksh, over the last many years has been hosting the Saree Week around Independence Day.

Royalty has been one of the earliest patrons of couture, i.e. handmade, which largely has references to the woven textiles of the country. Thus intended are the dialogues with royalty, textile historians, revivalists and weavers from Aug 10-12. The Fashion Narrative is the first in the city of its kind to really grasp conscious fashion in that sense.

Come take in the spirit of the 3 days, either by being part of the audience at the workshops and panel discussions or by indulging in retail therapy, which celebrates our myriad textiles.
