The First Hyderabad Jazz Festival from November 25-27, 2015

As a part of Hyderabad’s first Jazz Festival, ROOTS & SHOOTS – an Indo-German artistic collaboration will be performing. Roots & Shoots is about new ways of collaboration of Indian and German musicians to develop an artistically appealing, high level performance programme without following the well known clichés. The investigation and creative integration of different cultural roots (Roots) and the actual fruits thereof (Shoots) are focused in this extraordinary cooperation between the Indian and German musicians.

The performers will be:

Hindol Deb – sitar
Paras Nath – flute
Amit Mishra – tabla
Sebastian Gramss – double bass
Erwin Ditzner – drums / percussion
Matthias Muche – trombone
