Come November, Manfest and Varchasva will come together to host a Megafest like none ever seen before! The marriage of a Business Conclave and a Sports & Cultural Extravaganza, a testimony to over two decades of excellence, it promises to be the highlight of this year’s calendar! With a plethora of events that cater to all, and an attendant footfall of over 15,000 students, the 4-day event from 20th to 23rd November will be a gala show of grit, glitz and gumption.
Previous editions of the fests have had mammoth offerings like INR 22 Lakh in prize money and 19 PPIs, even as the campus was graced by luminaries such as Mr. Harsh Mariwala, Dr. D. Subbarao and Mr. Kishore Biyani. Headlining Pro-Shows that featured international and national acts such as RDB, Euphoria and Sunburn got temperatures rising. Further, exquisite events like the Sahara Force India pit stop challenge and the launch of Eternity-the fest’s very own EDM property added to the frenzy. Ending with a high, the Lucknow City Marathon with INR 1 Lakh in Prize Money and 1000 participants, all of whom ran for the cause of women’s safety, lent further weight to this power-packed mix.
Carrying forward the legacy, Manfest-Varchasva 2014 promises to push the bar even higher! A multitude of competitions ranging from management-related contests to sports and cultural events will see the best minds and the most talented young individuals of the country battle it out for prizes galore. Together with the much-awaited fashion parade and adrenaline-pumping Pro-nites, these will pave way for the most exciting times on campus. The presence of thought leaders and inspirational stalwarts from diverse backgrounds will lead to some of the most intellectually stimulating discourses within the hallowed halls thereby taking the 27 year-old tradition to heights hitherto unexplored.
The team recently concluded the inaugural event marking the 100th day from the fest. A series of day-long engagements culminated with a grand demonstration of light and sound that became the talk of the campus for the days to follow. The event was closely followed by the launch of the official Facebook page, already abuzz with activity.
