Kalsubai Trek with height of 1646m or 5400 Feets is famous as the highest peaks in Maharashtra. Kalsubai Mountain lies in the Sahyadri mountain range falling under kalsubai harishchandragad wildlife sanctuary . Kalsubai Height being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. There are steel railings, chains and ladders at places where it is difficult to climb.
According to the legend, Kalsu, a came to the Indore village at the foothills of Kalsubai. She took service with a Koli family on condition that she should not be asked to clean pots and sweep. Matters went smoothly till one day, when one of the family-members ordered Kalsu to clean some pots and clear away some litter. She did as she was told to, but immediately climbed the hill and stayed there till her death.
Located on the banks of River Pravara, Bhandardara is a hill station nestled in the Sahyadri mountain range in Maharashtra. According to a legend, sage Agastya meditated here for a year. Pleased with his penance, gods blessed him with a stream of River Ganga, now known as River Pravara. Bhandardara is crisscrossed by trekking trails and dotted with forts.
06 PM: Start to Manmad from Hyderabad by Ajanta Express.
07 AM: Reach Manmad, start by bus to Bari village (around 150 km)
12 PM: Reach Bari, have lunch and start the trek.
04 PM: Reach the top, have some food and visit the temple, click pictures with beautiful views.
08 PM: Reach back to base village, have dinner and sleep.
05 AM: Wake up call and start towards Bhandardara Dam.
07 AM: Trek around the dam, capture beautiful views. Visit Umbrella Falls.
02 PM: Have lunch and start towards Manmad.
09 PM: Catch train to hyderabad from Manmad.
09 AM: Reach Hyderabad, good bye with memories.
