The Promise of India – Manthan w/ Jaimini Bhagwati
The Promise of India examines India’s foreign policy and national economy related decisions and the context in which these were taken at the Prime Minister’s level from 1947 till end May 2019. As the recent changes in Jammu & Kashmir have amply demonstrated we need to look back to past events to understand current happenings.
Argentina was a country with great promise at the beginning of the 20th century which has not achieved what it could have even after 100 years. We need to be wary of assuming that the rise of India over the next twenty years is inevitable.
