Vishaal Asrani’s Institute Of Performing Arts presents – Advanced Theatre Workshop.
If you can’t get to Broadway, don’t worry! We shall bring Broadway to you!
A fun-filled workshop conducted by VIshaal Asrani And Jiji Subi For Children Between 12 To 16 Years.
The participants will watch a Broadway show, discuss and analyse the scenes and plot.
Other aspects covered will be Characters, Character Traits, Setting, Motivation, Costumes, Make-up, Musical Score, Dialogue Delivery, & Stage Lighting.
They will write short plays and monologues which they will enact in front of their peers on Zoom.
What the students will also do is a critique and evaluate a performance which will be screen shared with them and then through peer discussion explores the aspects of an exciting performance. They will also enact scenes from the show through Mime, Charades, Improvisations And Short Skits.
The online performances with other participants will build confidence, and skills of narrating, debating, communicating, pronunciation and enunciation, voice modulation, and acting.

Requirements- Each participant must have a laptop, desktop or a tablet. An internet connection and a writing pad and pen/pencil.
The course will be certified by VAIPA and once the lockdown is lifted, certificates will be sent over to the candidates.
