With some AIB members previously having written actual Bollywood awards shows such as Filmfare and Stardust, The Royal Turds was a platform to comedically express what they really felt about the industry.
The show honours the worst of everything from acting, direction, lyrics etc., all through a mixture of stand-up, sketch and musical comedy. The Royal Turds also traveled to Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata in venues such as the India Habitat Centre and Kala Mandir running to packed houses.
