Tower running is a sport that involves running up the internal staircases of buildings. It is an unconventional sport. The objective of organizing Tower Run is to promote health & fitness and promote staircase climbing as a easy and effective exercise to stay fit and bring down the incidence of lifestyle diseases. Tower Run is an ideal exercise for building team-spirit and creating a fierce sense of loyalty and pride in corporate organizations.
More than 200 Tower Running races are held worldwide, in 33 countries, in the world’s most iconic buildings, including the Empire State Building (New York), Tower 42 (London), Willis Tower (Chicago) etc. The Mumbai Tower Run will be recognised and promoted by the World Tower Running Association (TWA), based in Austria. CII Maharashtra state is delighted to announce the 2nd edition of CII Tata Tower Run to be held on Sunday, 13 December 2015 in Mumbai.
The objective is to promote health and fitness in the corporate world.
The Mumbai Tower Run will be recognised and promoted by the World Tower Running Association (TWA), based in Austria.
No skills or specialized training is required. Start at the bottom. Run and climb up the stairs till you reach the finish line on the 30th floor.
