THIS EDITION OF “GARDENIA 2016” IS PROPOUNDED ON THE THEME OF “GO 2016-GARDENIA OLYMPIA – CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF OLYMPICS”.
The event promises to involve the youth of our nation to carry forward the spirit of Olympics.
The activities proposed to achieve the objective through the involvement of students are as follows:

Brief Description : An event where you will be showcasing the celebration of Olympics through painting.

Painting can be of any medium.
Drawing sheets will be provided at the venue.
All the materials except drawing sheets should be brought by participants.
Participants should report to the venue 15 minutes before the event timing.
Judges decision will be the final.

Brief Description : Fed up of waste materials? Try out making some best items out of them -“Kabbad se Jugad”. Unleash the creative side of you. It is time to bring out the hidden artist inside you. Elysian Sprint – Kabaar se jugaad is a test of imagination, inspiration, visual, conceptual and resourceful management.

Theme of the product should be “The Clean &Green India”
Resources will be given on the spot.
No extra resources will be given; the participants cannot use anything other than what has been provided to them.
Students has prepare and ad for the same.
Time limit for preparation of the product and ad is 45 minutes.
Time limit to present the product and the ad is 2 minutes.

Event name : Backpacker – Travel Marathon
Brief Description : To promote a tourist destination and preparing best itinerary(travel plan) keeping budget ,time and interest factors in mind. There are backpackers who go tramping in the forests sleeping in tents and on the beach, and hitch hike their way around the world, and there are those who back pack with roller-bag suitcases, sleep in hotels and buy their own car to get around a country.

Brief Description : Dream big, it’s the first step to success Create your innovative drink to test your bartending skills. Guest delight is one of the key factors for the success in the hospitality industry. The ingredient to astonish the guest and to surprise them is to have creative ideas that are extraordinary and which can be implemented.

Rules and Regulations
Time allowed for preparing and presenting your Innovative Mocktail, Cocktail and a shooter will be 30 minutes.
The theme of the cocktail should reflect Olympics.
An innovative menu card to be presented for each drink.
All the ingredients, glassware, bar accessories need to be brought by the candidate.
College ID card is compulsory.
The idea should be original idea of the participants and it should not be copied from any sources. Participants will get ice cubes in the event area.
Judgment criteria : The Innovative drink would be judged based on originality, ability to explain the drink, justification to delight the guest, degree of Olympics theme relevance, taste, color and aroma of the drink, time taken to prepare and practical feasibility to introduce in the menu.

Event name : Perfect Olympics ring creation
Brief Description : One cannot think well, sleep well, and love well, if one has not dined well. “Food for the body is not enough. There must be food for the Soul”. The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field. This was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games. Now it is the turn to experiment food as a tool to design the Olympic ring. Unveil your culinary skills to participate in creating perfect Olympics ring in food.

Time allowed to prepare and display the ring will be 30 minutes.
Two types of rings should be prepared.
Participants should bring their own ingredients, equipment and presentation kit.
Mode of cooking can be either deep frying or flameless.
An innovative menu card to be presented.
The participants will get deep frying facility in the competition area.
The participants can use any of the ingredients for the competition.

The team member should pass on the baton to the other member for the next lap.
The fastest team completing the task will be declared the winner.
