Essentials of Typography for UX Designers in Hyderabad on January 25, 2014
The practice of User eXperience (UX) actually did not evolve at PARC Xerox in the 60s and 70s, the evolution actually dates back 600 years.
One of the most important events in the design revolution was ‘Printing,’ which evolved with the invention of ‘movable type’ by Guttenberg in the 15th century. Typography and layout design also developed rapidly after the invention of printing. Typesetters understood how people read — great page layouts were designed, making reading easier. This laid the foundation of modern day ‘screen design.’
