Basic DSLR Photography Workshop in New Delhi from November 30 – December 1, 2013

Crack the secret of different modes, Know the codes for better exposure, and un-complicate Digital Photography. We believe, the fine art of photography can’t be taught. Since we can’t give “the eye” to our students we simply try and introduce them to techniques and the “science of imaging.”

• Photography as an art as much as it is a science.

• Different types of cameras (Based on current digital technology- compact, prosumer or D-SLR )
• Different types of lenses and their usage, (Across all OEMs) including the difference betweenOptical and Digital Zooms
• Present day digital cameras, their working, controls and features.
• Exposure (Aperture, Shutter and ISO)
• Focusing (One-Shot, AI-Servo and Continuous Servo)
• Metering (Evaluative/ Matrix, Centre-Weighted, Spot and Partial)
• White-Balance (Importance and applications)
• Accessories – Their Need and applications along with Interesting Tips and Tricks e.g. Batteries and Battery packs, Various Card types and their usage, Camera kits and specialized Bags, Filters- Various types, Tripods- Various types, Camera straps, Remote triggers, Under-water rigs etc, composition (If time permits).
