Mentor: Lakshmi Prabhala
When Lakshmi was presented with a digital Point and Shoot camera, she took to photography instantly. Despite being a trained engineer and a software techie by profession she decided to pursue her passion in photography. Having been committed to the art form for many years now, photography has become a medium of self-expression as well as self-exploration.
A well-known photographer based in Hyderabad, Lakshmi has been actively involved in photo-documenting the city as well as it heritage structures. A self-taught photographer, her works have been published in many coffee table tops and reputed magazines like Jetwings, Spicejet and Discover India to name a few. In addition, she has had a solo show and has been part of various group exhibitions in in India as well as abroad.
