Do you want to include cycling as part of your fitness routine, but are unsure on how to get started? Through this interactive session, our Knowledge Contributor – Abhishek Avhad, will guide you through all the various aspects of what it takes to get started with cycling – right from picking the right bike for yourself, avoiding injuries to busting a few myths along the way. At the end of this session, you will understand the do’s & don’ts of cycling and feel more confident to start your journey into this wonderful sport.

Let’s get to know Abhishek

A Chartered Accountant by profession and an endurance athlete by passion, Abhishek Avhad is an Ironman Triathlete (A race considered to be the toughest single day endurance event), a RAAM Qualified Ultracyclist (RAAM is the world’s toughest cycling race) and a certified mountaineer (from HMI). He loves to coach and inspire people in running, swimming, cycling and general fitness. He registered for his first ever triathlon (which involved swimming in the ocean), even before he learnt how to swim.
