This lecture helps you build characters for your screen stories but the concepts covered here will be useful while writing for prose or stage as well. This lecture should also be helpful for actors who want to learn about character work.
About the Instructor: Satyanshu is a National Award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter and professor of cinema. Satyanshu started his professional journey by writing poems for Vikramaditya Motwane’s Udaan and lyrics for Sulemani Keeda and Ferrari Ki Sawaari. His directorial debut was a Kashmiri short film Tamaash, which won several awards at different film festivals, including a National Award. Satyanshu has conducted screenwriting courses at Anupam Kher’s ‘Actor Prepares’ as well as workshops across India. He is the mentor at AIB’s ‘First Draft’ screenwriter residency programme. During the COVID-19 pandemic Satyanshu launched a fundraising initiative by conducting online lectures on cinema. Satyanshu’s debut feature film Chintu Ka Birthday was recently released to critical and popular acclaim on Zee5. He is currently developing a series for a leading production house.
