Might Octopus using Watercolors Pen and Wash Painting Party
Join us for this beginner friendly painting party, as we paint this mighty Octopus using pen and watercolors in an illustrative style. We will be using the pen adn wash technique to sketch the octopus and then lightly paint it with watercolor. This is a beginner friendly guided session, the artist will guide you and paint along with you. You don’t need to have painted before. Whether you’re new to watercolors or want to experiment painting in a different style, join in! Just a love for colors and an eagerness to learn and have fun is enough for this.

Rough Schedule
First 15 mins – Introduction & Drawing
Next 1.5 hrs – Sketching and Painting with Pen & Watercolors
Last 5 mins – Wrap up and photos
Material: you have to arrange for this on your own, but you don’t need a lot. You will need some watercolors, 1 medium size round brush about size 6-10, 1 small size round brush about size 0-3, 1 half inch wash brush or big flat brush, watercolor paper preferably 250+gsm or thick paper/ sketchbook paper about A4 or 9X12 inches in size, masking tape, a pen (I use a uniball eye pilot pen with leakproof ink, you can use this or a micron pen), a pencil, eraser, and some basics like tissues, water, some rough papers, hair dryer, and a plate/palette. To get the best results it is preferable to use 300gsm watercolor paper and artist grade watercolors.
