Mix cocktails at your home bar with Ami Shroff

Let’s add some flair to your home bar, while I simplify the art of mixology by teaching you how to play with flavours and shake up 2 delicious classic cocktails, with my personal twists and variations.

We will make :

1) Smokey honey sour
2) Chilli margarita

We will also learn some bartending techniques such as smoking and rimming your glass & muddling.

Cocktails will be accompanied with simple flair bartending moves that anyone could learn using props like a plastic water bottle, ice, lime & a metal glass closing with a performance by me.

Things required :

-Table/Kitchen platform to make the drinks.
-Shaker or an air tight container.
-Muddler or grinding bowl or the back of a laddle to muddle with.
-2 plates & spoons.
-lighter or candle
-Glassware: martini and whisky glass or your funkiest glass available.
-Wiping cloth/tissues

Ingredients:

A sweetener of choice- honey or date syrup or jaggery syrup(jaggery diluted in little water) or sugar
60 ml Lime juice
Alcohol- whisky and tequila OR whichever alcohol is available(vodka,gin,rum)
1 or 2 cut chilli
plate with salt & little chilli powder
cinnamon or any dried spice or herb- 1 small piece
pineapple juice- optional
2 glasses full of ice cubes (15-20 cubes)

I have been a flair bartender, mixologist and juggler since 2003.
