Summer Terrace using Oil Pastels with Surbhi

Introduction:
Oil pastels is the first medium we used that made us fall in love with our drawings. Let’s bring back some of those memories by creating a visual of a summer terrace with colorful flowers in the garden.

What You Will Learn:
In this 2- hour session, we’ll be taking up several techniques to add a wow factor to your artworks.
1. Heavy Pressure Blending
2. Light Pressure Blending
3. Colour Mixing
4. Stippling
5. Scumbling
6. Sgraffito

Materials Needed:
1. A4 size white thick paper
2. Tissue Paper
3. Oil pastels or wax crayons
4. Acrylic white paint or white correction pen
5. Paintbrush – size 0
6. Pencil
7. Eraser

About the Artist:
Surbhi Chechani from Mumbai, a self-taught artist who loves colors. Likes to create and experiment with art through colors, textures, papers, and forms. An Internal Auditor by Profession but fancy colors and have a zest for art, love traveling & reading, and always on the quest to learn more.
