Aakruti Kathak Kendra presents Kathak Masterclass

Aakruti is a dance school committed to preserving, promoting and facilitating Kathak in India and across the World. Through a range of activities such as weekly dance classes, workshops, master classes, lecture – demonstrations as well as research into the interfacing of Kathak with other Indian and Western art forms, Aakruti Kathak Kendra offers its students, Kathak connoisseurs, art aficionados as well as general public multiple ways to engage with Kathak. Our Guru – Pt Birju Maharaj Ji is conducting a “Kathak Masterclass” for intermediate and advanced level dancers. The Intermediate level masterclass will cover aspects such as Vandana, Tukras, Tihais and much more, the Advanced level masterclass will cover Abhinaya, Thumri, Sargam and much more.
