Free Workshop On Careers In The Gaming Industry in Hyderabad on October 22, 2016

Backstage Pass Institute of Gaming and Technology is organizing a free workshop for students on the opportunities available in the gaming industry.
With companies like Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft studios and EA sports hiring gamers extensively, there is no better time than now to pursue a career in this industry.

The workshop will help students not only explore different career opportunities available, but also allow the students to interact with the speakers and get all their queries answered.

Speakers:
Sushil George

Sushil is a partner and game developer at Roach Interactive and a consultant. He mentors students in game development and programming at Backstage Pass. He has 4 in-house and 3 client game titles to his credit. Some notable titles are Bird of Light on Steam, Smo and Leap Leap Leap on iOS. Currently, he is working on an upcoming multiplayer title at Roach Interactive.

Sushil  is a game developer and technology enthusiast. He holds B.Tech from JNTU, Hyderabad and Advanced Diploma in Game Programming from Backstage Pass Institute of Gaming & Technology.

In the recent past, he worked with Avakai Games and Pixelsutra, Hyderabad.

Debdatta Basu

Debdatta Basu is a software engineer who loves playing and making games. An alumnus of IIT – Roorkee, he finds motivation in creating immersive experiences through software.

Debdatta is part of YesGnome where he works on cutting edge games for mobile. He is also the Lead Instructor for computer graphics and game development at Backstage Pass Institute of Gaming and Technology, where he mentors the next generation of software engineers on their mission to change the world.
